Robert L. Fulmer, the founder of RL Fulmer Roof Consultants LLC, learned the trades of slate, tile, cedar and copper roofing as the fourth generation of his family’s historic roofing business, which began in 1910. After owning and operating his own historic roofing business for fifteen years he began to focus on the consulting aspect of his work. He has consulted on many significant historic restoration projects, authored trade specific articles, lectured throughout the U.S. regarding various roofing, historic preservation and exterior building topics and has appeared on national television.
